New Tech Standards & Requirements

I believe that these standards are doing the right thing by incorporating technology in today's classroom.  I like the idea of using some of these techniques that we have used in class.  I believe in the future we will all be using technology to live and work like the Oregon Standard 6.  I have been using technology for a long time.  I would say I spend most of my day using technology while at home and at school.  Here at Willamette everything we do is using technology.  I feel that people can also become more creative while using the new technology with their presentations and other projects.
When it comes to using technology in PE, I feel that ti can be a great tool.  I can have students keep a blog of their daily eating habits or daily exercise routines.  I can use videos in PE to teach things as well.  I could use Ustream to teach a lesson in the PE/Health in case I couldn't be there.  I also like the idea of using google drawing for drawing out plays in coaching aspect of things.  I would like ti incorporate technology as much as possible in my classes.  I believe it makes things easier for everyone instead of going through everyone's papers they could all be in one place on my computer to grade.  I am excited where technology can take us in the future of teaching.

U-Stream Project

This assignment also didn't go as easy as I first thought.  We as a group wanted to go out and film a football game while streaming it live on the net.  Come to find out neither of us had the right camera to be compatible with the site.  We didn't want to use our lap top web cams.  So that is why we made this video with Colin's lap top.  I would still like the class to watch the live stream of the game mentioned in the video above.  I believe this is a great tool which can also be fun.  You can use this in the classroom for teaching lessons when you need a sub or can not make to the classroom.  I am excited to use this tool in the future for many things including education.

Analyzing Student Data in a Spreadsheet

This assignment was a difficult one for me because I feel that I just didnt pay attention to the directions in class as well as I should have.  I was trying to embed my sheet into the compose section of my blog instead of the Edit HTML portion.  I was getting frustrated and wanting to just forget it but I finally got some help and got myself back on track.
I feel that I as a teacher would spend more individual time with these students to help them improve their averages.  I would help students who fell below the average after every test so that the students wouldn't fall further behind.  I would want to jump on those students before they completely fell off the grade book.  I would want to be there and asking these students questions to help them get better understanding of the materials.
